Wow, it’s a time warp to those halcyon days of mid-’80s blazing hardcore. No melody, no pop, no songs about girls, just fast, ugly and angry. Not to say the style is dead now, its just been ghettoised and passed up in favour of more listener-friendly punk. As one of the biggest proponents of said style, perhaps Epitaph is now trying to balance things out. Regardless of the intent, this is one smokin’ record. Two girls, two guys and 20 songs worth of music along the lines of DRI (pre-Crossover), MDC, Anti-Schism, Agnostic Front (Victim in Pain-era) among a host of other influences.
