For the small roomful of fans who came out to see ex-Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur preview some tracks from her supposedly-upcoming album, the prevalence of old material was a bit of a surprise. However, it wasn't an unwelcome one, as tunes like 'Real A Lie' and 'I Need, I Want, I Will' got a well-deserved airing. All too soon, she launched into the difficult vocal intro to 'Followed the Waves, narrowly avoiding a missed note by turning it into a passionate gasp, and carried off the rest of the song without a hitch to provide a great crescendo to a great show.
