Modest Mouse Unveil Expanded Reissue of 'Good News for People Who Love Bad News'

The 20th anniversary edition adds eight remixes

Good news for people who love Good News for People Who Love Bad News: Modest Mouse are reissuing their 2004 album for its 20th anniversary in expanded form. It's out May 17 through Legacy Recordings.

The digital version of the album, titled Good News For People Who Love Bad News: 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition, adds eight bonus tracks. Five of those tracks are also included on the 2LP vinyl reissue.

All of the bonus tracks are remixes. This includes contributions from MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden, Jacknife Lee, Dan the Automator and more. Listen to Poolside's remix of "Ocean Breathes Salty" below, and scroll past that to see the expanded tracklist.

The LP version is pressed on green and pink wax. Both the digital and vinyl editions feature an alternate album cover. The vinyl is available to pre-order here.
