This is a little more melodic than some of the material that comes out on TKO, but don't let that scare you off. Originally formed in 1990 in New Jersey, Those Unknown are back after a few years off and have relocated to sunny California. The four songs on this have a catchy edge and the cover of Ewan MacColl's "Dirty Old Town" is quite good. I wouldn't exactly call this oi, though the influence is there. It's more like Swingin' Utters/Pogues kind of stuff. Lyrically, this covers the down and out working class territory that acts as a counterpoint to the music. I'm looking forward to hearing more from them.
